In scoping the future context, we set our sights on how the customer behaviours and expectations will also shift as the energy market transform in the next 5 to 10 years. We used visualized scenarios to facilitate discussions with the stakeholders and experts.

With these insights, the roadmaps were crafted with the objectives:

  1. Communicate future trends and relevance to Quby, clients and end consumers.

  2. Shape innovation opportunities for Quby (business models, product-services).

  3. Organize and pace necessary developments to leverage opportunities (resources, technology, partners).

  4. Establish assessment cadence to continuously improve roadmap elements.

Charting the future opportunties

At the end of the project, we offered recommendations that will evolve Quby’s role in the industry.

A report detailing the progressive transformation plan was also delivered with 3 detailed roadmaps:

  • Strategic roadmap: Overarching vision, value proposition and business models evolution.

  • Tactical planning roadmap: Project funnels for roadmap transitions and overall planning to facilitate cross organization coordination.

  • Tactical operations roadmap: Development milestones to organize progressive resource investment and deployment.
